PPSC PCS Recruitment 2025

The Punjab State Civil Services Combined Competitive Examination-2025 (PSCSCCE-2025) is being conducted by the PPSC for recruitment of officers as Punjab Civil Service (Executive Branch), Deputy Superintendent of Police, Tehsildar, Food and Civil Supply Officer, Block Development & Panchayat
Officer , Assistant Registrar Co-Operative Societies, Labour-cum-Conciliation Officer, Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Officer, Excise & Taxation Officer (ETO) and Deputy Superintendent of Jails (Grade-II)/ District Probation Officer. After completion of the examination process, the Commission shall send a list of the successful candidates to the Government. This Advertisement is being published as per the requisition received from the Government of Punjab, Dept. Educational Qualifications

  1. The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution.
    1. Candidates pursuing their degree can appear for the Preliminary Exam but must provide proof of passing before the Main Exam.
  2. Candidates must have passed Matriculation with Punjabi as a compulsory/elective subject or an equivalent qualification in Punjabi as specified by the Government.
    1. Exceptions apply to wards of Defence Personnel and War Heroes who can fulfill Punjabi language requirements within two years of appointment or are exempt under specific conditions.
  3. The term “recognized university” or “institution” follows the definition in the Punjab Civil Services Rules, 1994.

Age Limit

  1. General Candidates: Minimum age is 21 years, and maximum age is 37 years as of January 1, 2025.
  2. Relaxations:
    1. SC/BC (Punjab): Upper age limit extended to 42 years (except for Punjab Police and Prisons Services).
    2. Punjab Government/Board Employees: Upper age limit extended to 45 years (except for Punjab Police Service).
    3. Ex-Servicemen (Punjab Domicile): Age limit adjusted by subtracting service years plus a maximum of 3 years.
    4. Widows/Divorced Women & Special Categories of Women: Upper age limit extended to 42 years (except for Punjab Police Service).
    5. Physically Handicapped (Punjab): Upper age limit extended to 47 years (except for Punjab Police Service).
  3. Punjab Police & Prisons Services:
    1. Minimum age: 21 years.
    2. Maximum age: 28 years.
    3. For SC/BC (Punjab): Upper age limit extended to 33 years.

Note: Age relaxations are as per the Punjab Civil Services Rules, 2009, and related instructions.
