Eligibility Criteria IIT Dhanbad Recruitment 2025
1. Educational Qualification:
- Ph.D. in the relevant field with a first class or equivalent at the preceding degree.
- Excellent academic record with a good CPI/CGPA/Percentage in Ph.D. coursework, where applicable.
2. Experience:
- Assistant Professor Grade-II (Contract): Less than 3 years of post-Ph.D. industrial/research/teaching experience.
- Assistant Professor Grade-I (Regular): At least 3 years of post-Ph.D. experience.
- Associate Professor: 6 years of teaching/research/industrial experience, with at least 3 years at the Assistant Professor level in reputed institutions.
- Professor: 10 years of teaching/research/industrial experience, with at least 4 years at the Associate Professor level in reputed institutions.
3. Age Limit:
- Preferably below 35 years for Assistant Professor (UR category). Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.
